The specification incorporates an anti-reverse mechanism, together with related bobbin winding features. However, production models I have observed do not include the above.
Other aspects within the patent deal with elegant solutions for shuttle drive, stitch length adjustment, and needlebar cam stability. All of these features do appear on extant models.
